How many old mobile numbers have been allotted to new subscribers in last 5 years by telecom companies and is there any law which governs this as this is a real security threat for every subscriber
As mobile number has been made mandatory for many services it should never been alloted to another subscriber by telecom companies in case number is not active as it can be misused by anyone
What steps have been taken to safe guard mobile subscribers from thefts and frauds due to misuse of of his inactive mobile number
Old people and many other people who doesnt have understanding of this risks should be educated by TRAI in TV ads and should not be let in open to get looted by frauds
Inactive mobile number is assigned to some other subscriber and all apps in mobile like bank apps FB INSTAGRAM GMAIL and every other app are linked to mobile number and can be logged in using mobile number which is now allotted to new subscriber
Please enforce with immediate effect that old mobile number cant be allotted to any other subscriber for at least 50 years as it causes threat to his email bank and social identities
