1. Are mobile operators allowed to suspend or deactivate the Services of a subscriber in case it is found that there is an outstanding against any other mobile number or from his or her earlier connection.
2. A subscriber is holding two or more separate accounts subscribed at different dates. Can the mobile operator suspend or deactivate the services of both accounts on the ground that one of the account is having an outstanding.
3. Is it mandatory for the mobile operators to check the security deposit and credit limit before suspending or deactivating the Services of a postpaid subscriber on account of nonpayment.
4. Are mobile operators permitted to raise bills for a mobile number even though disconnection or closure request is given and simultaneously acknowledgment and processing are also confirmed from the operator side. To be more specific if (D) is the date of the request for disconnection and (D plus 5) is the date for which the mobile operator has confirmed the subscriber for its closure specifying the amount required to pay, is the operator permitted to raise bill after (D plus 5 days)
5. Are mobile operators permitted to reactivate the mobile number on their whims and fancies and charge the customer even though no reactivation request has been raised from the side of the customer.
6. When an sms is sent from the sending device it is first received by the nearest cell tower of the sending device. From there it is transmitted to the SMS center. Thereafter the SMS is transmitted to the nearest tower of the receiving device and finally to the receiving device. At which point stated above mobile operators are allowed to charge the customer.
7. In context to Sms the mobile operators show time in their detailed bill. Is this the time of delivery to the receiving device or time of sending by the sending device.
8. Is there any set process defined by DOT, which time should be shown in the bills of a subscriber.
