Dear Team,

I would like to get the information about SIM swap process currently being followed Indian Telecom operators. As per the information shared that duplicate SIM can be handed over to original SIM owner and can be activated by his biometric verification.

I would like to get information or challenge this process for the Indian staying overseas who lost their SIM card due to some mishap and want get New SIM card through friends or family (non blood relation).

With this digital approach I am sure we are handling cyber threats very well but how about exceptional cases like us who are facing mental trauma due to this process.

I am working in Thailand and misplaced my Indian SIM card and since then am not able to access my bank account due to 2 factor authentication and many other useful information and neither can I get duplicate sim card.

Please help me with more information or solution.
