As per latest update for how many days to telecom companies are supposed to bound to preserve CDR details for their consumer.
Telecom operators like Airtel, Jio preserves consumer CDR details like call tower locations for how many days.
For 28 October 2021 day till when it will be preserved.
As per dec 202q1 DOT guidelines it seems 2 years though pls you confirm same?
Also please answer on Dec 2021 guideline revised to store CDR for 2 years probably for legal purpose then is it applicable for 28 October 2021 r cord as well.
1)Can you confirm 28 oct 2022 CDR records for telecom operators like Airtel, Jio will be available for legal purpose till how many days or till what date to be precise?
2)pls refer attached DOT document and comment on it if can I expect telecom operators like Airtel and Jio will preserve 28 oct.2021 record for two years for their respective customers for 2 years for legal purpose if asked by court or police with refrence to some case? Circular is dated 21 dec 2021 do does it mean it is applicable for 28 oct 2021 record as well and if no then how long it will be preserved?
