Seeking information about Tower Dump Data stored by Telecom Service Providers under RTI Act, 2005.
1. Provide information pertaining to tower dump data stored by Telecom Service Providers.
a) Details of types or categories of information contains in tower dump data about an individual mobile subscriber.
b) Details of data retention, storage and deletion rules and procedures.
i) As how the tower dump data about an individual mobile subscriber would stored. Who has the power to access this data.
ii) As when and how they data will be deleted.
c) Provide particular rules, procedures and section to tower dump data retention, storage and deletion is governed.
d) Number of times the law enforcement agencies or police officials sought tower dump data in last six months ( January 2019 - June 2019)
