The Office memorandum (OM) No. 36012/18/95-Estt./ (RES) Pt. II dated 13th August, 1997 issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) was quashed and set aside by the Hon. Delhi High Court as decided in the case W. P. 3490/2010 & CM NO. 6956/2010 (stay) on 23rd August 2017.
I hereby humbly request for the copies of Orders issued to all concerned units under your Department including BSNL & MTNL.
1. Orders in respect of further actions to be initiated for the promotion of general category candidates retrospectively from the date reserved category candidates were promoted as per the earlier order issued by DOPT on 13th August 1997
2. Orders for quashing the Office memorandum (OM) No. 36012/18/95-Estt./ (RES) Pt. II dated 13th August, 1997
3. Orders to obtain the disclosures of information in respect of steps taken to ensure that requisite exercise, collecting quantifiable data and determining the aspects of backwardness, inadequacy of representation and overall efficiency of the administration by the concerned authorities as required by article 16(4) & Article 16(4A) limited by Article 335.
4. Orders to fix the responsibility for blindly extending, beyond 15th December, 1997, the provision for reservation, in promotion favouring SCs and STs.
