Please provide me the following information:
DoPT O.M. 13/11/86 JCA dated 7th November 1986 It is mentioned that 40 hours per week working in Administrative offices.
In addition half an hour for lunch break - it makes 42 hours and 30 minutes per week.
(i) Inform me how many types of offices exist in Central Government such as Administrative office.
(ii) Inform me about applicability of 40 hours per week working without lunch break or 42 and half hours including half an hour lunch break extended to all Central Government offices/Central Government employees
(iii) Inform me about Department/Oranisation/office working under 5-day-week. In that situation whether 6-day-week applicable to any cadre.
(iv) Inform me about applicability of different working hours i.e. 5-day-week and 6-day-week within the same cadre in the same office/organisation - under DoPT norms on working hours.
(v) Inform me whether Department such as DOT/Wireless Monitoring Organisation can over write DoPT O.M. and formulate separate working hours for certain cadre(s) and part of the same cadre(s).
(vi) Inform me whether working hours is the Government of India decision and implemented to all Central Government employees equally through Nodal Ministry/Department.
