1) Kindly specify the documents required to obtain a new SIM Card from a Telecom Operator.
2) Clearly specify whether Aadhar Card (issued by UIDAI, GoI) has been made mandatory for obtaining a new SIM Card. If yes, kindly provide a copy of the relevant Order(s)/Notification(s).
Note- If the aforestated information is not available at your office, kindly forward this RTI Application to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) or any other appropriate authority under the provision(s) of Section 6(3) of the RTI Act, 2005.
