Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in regards to the notification dated 23/03/2017 issued by the Department of Telecommunications pertaining to E-KYC verification of existing mobile subscribers.
As per this notification, it has been made mandatory for all subscribers to be reverified using Aadhar by the 06/02/2018. Can you please confirm what is the position for NRIs who are not eligible to obtain Aadhar and who have taken connection before they became NRIs.
Is there any exemption similar to the clarification issued recently exempting NRIs from linking PAN card with Aadhar.
Please clarify on this. Thanks.
