(01) These days the mobile service provider companies are asking to link the telephone numbers with adhar card and details. The supreme court has said that adhar card should not be mandatory except for getting subsidy schemes, and a 6 bench judge is looking into privacy matter to make adhar card mandatory for linking pan number and filing of income tax returns.
Please provide the information on what basis and rules, these private companies are making adhar card linking to mobile compulsory and sending sms, which is against honorable Supreme court order and contempt of honorable Supreme court. Please provide copy of any circular if issued by telecom ministry. Also provide information under which law or circular the finger print data of the customers are taken. There is need of identity proof to establish identity but not finger print data which is base of key passwords for unlocking mobiles, latest complex security systems and for register for attendance in jobs and business houses too. Please provide a copy of circular or letter sent to the mobile companies regarding giving them right to get finger print data and making it mandatory. Please clarify status on the above two points and provide necessary copy of circular or letter or law passed.
