1. Please provide the count of number of JAGs working in DOT units, BSNL, MTNL, on deputation or otherwise in any other department and on long leave as on 1.01.2017 and 31.03.2017.
2. Also provide the count of JAG officers retired in 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018.
3. After the current cadre review, the number of duty posts of JAG were less than total number of JAGs posted in DOT, BSNL, MTNL, on deputation or otherwise in any other department and on long leave. Whether STS posts are upgraded to JAG to adjust these excess JAGs, if yes, how many posts are upgraded.
4. Considering the above, please provide the number of vacancies available in JAG for promotion in the year 2017-18 and 2018.
