I would like to obtain information regarding the following issues:
1. Who has authorised/granted permission to Reliance Jio for taking Aadhar Card along with finger/thumb prints of individuals against issuance of Jio SIM cards.
Furthermore, in a recent order by Supreme Court, no private organisation is supposed to obtain information and data like this (Aadhar Data with Finger print/Retina Scan).
2. Also I would like to know what action is government going to take against this organisation, if it uses this information for their own interest and personal motives.
Please update me with respect to the steps Government is taking for securing the safety and data of every individual obtained by Reliance Jio.
