- ∙Maintenance and updation of ACC Vacancy Monitoring System in DoT.
- ∙Updation of status of ACC proposals and compliance of ACC decisions and directions.
2. Cadre control of Indian Radio Regulatory Services Cadre (IRRS).
- Cadre and service matters of IRRS Group-A.
- Transfer/posting of IRRS Group-A & Group-B Officers.
- Court Cases pertaining to service matters of IRRS Group-A & Group-B officers.
- Establishment matters (Recruitment/RRs) of officers pertaining to GCS Cadre posted in WMO
- Parliament Questions, PG cases & RTI cases pertaining to service matters of IRRS Group-A & Group-B officers.
3. Board level appointments in all DoT CPSEs.
- Appointment of Functional Directors on the Board of TCIL/MTNL/ BSNL/ITI Ltd. and BBNL CPSEs under the control of DoT.
- Appointment of Government Directors on the Board of TCIL/MTNL/ BSNL/ITI Ltd./BBNL/HTL and HCL.
- Appointment of Non-official Directors on the Board of TCIL/MTNL/ BSNL and ITI Ltd. CPSEs under the control of DoT.
- Finalization of Terms & Conditions and fixation of pay of Functional Directors of BSNL, MTNL, TCIL, ITI Ltd. and BBNL CPSEs under DoT.
- Extension of tenure of regular Board level Directors till their superannuation.
- Entrustment/extension of additional charge arrangement of the vacant positions of Functional Directors of BSNL, MTNL, TCIL, ITI Ltd. and BBNL.
- Court cases pertaining to Board level appointments.
- Policy matters relating to absorption of Group ‘A’ officers in BSNL/MTNL.
- Updation of Govt. portals i.e. AVMS SUPREMO portal, LIMBS portal, SPARROW portal etc.
- The work of APARs of Board level Officers of CPSEs under DoT.
- Parliament Questions/Assurances/VIP references/Public Grievances related to Functional Directors of CPSEs under DoT.
- Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly reports to various wings in DoT.
4. All Administrative and operational matters relating to BSNL, MTNL and BBNL.
- All administrative matters of BSNL & MTNL including Financial/Budget matters.
- Parliamentary matters of BSNL/MTNL/BBNL including PQ, Assurances, Standing Committee, PAC, Study Visits, Demand for grants, Rule 377, Notices under Special Mention, Zero Hour, etc.
- VIP/PG/PMO references of BSNL/MTNL/BBNL
- Court Cases filed against BSNL/MTNL wherein DoT/UoI being administrative department and taken as proforma respondent(s).
- Audit matters, AGM & EGM of BSNL & MTNL.
- MoU signing between DoT and BSNL & MTNL.
- Timely submission of monthly Capex data w.r.t BSNL and MTNL on PE survey portal
- Issues raised by the Unions of BSNL & MTNL, Complaint cases, NHRC & Lokpal cases.
- Issues relating to BSNL & MTNL services raised by State Governments/ other Government Bodies and general public.
- Co-ordination with DPE/DIPAM/DPIIT/ Cabinet Sectt./ other ministries in matters relating to BSNL & MTNL.
- Framing of comments on Cabinet Notes/Draft Policies received from various Departments/Ministries with relevance to BSNL & MTNL.
- Arbitration/AMRCD cases of BSNL & MTNL.
- Monitoring of major milestones/targets as per various Cabinet approvals on infrastructure projects.
5. All policy and court matters relating to absorption of Group ‘A’ officers BSNL and MTNL.
- Policy matters relating to absorption of Group ‘A’ officers in BSNL/MTNL.
- Court cases pertaining to absorption related matters of Group ‘A’ officers in BSNL/MTNL.
