Dear Concerned Authority, Please answer the following queries:
Q1) How many SIM cards are an Indian citizen legally allowed to use in his/her name at a given time?
Q2) With respect to the answer of Q1 (say, X number), is the limit of X number of SIM cards per citizen applicable to all telecom circles across all operators, or is there any specific limit based on Telecom Circles and Operators as well?
Q3) Does the limit of X number include eSIMs as well, or are eSIMs counted separately in addition to X number?
Q4) Is there any provision/proposal of changing the limitation of X number in the upcoming new Telecom Bill? If yes, what is the new number?
Q5) By which month are the changes based on the new Telecom bill going to come in to effect?
