Following information under RTI Act 2005 may kindly be supplied :-
1. Erstwhile DOT officers absorbed in BSNL/MTNL getting all retirement benefits like gratuity, leave encashment, commutation, pension from govt of India consolidated fund from CCA, CGHS facility, all facilities as provided to central govt retired officers after retirement. There is nothing different to treat BSNL/MTNL retired officers, but on joining as consultant in DOT there is a discrimination in remuneration between retired central govt employee and BSNL/MTNL employee. Reason of discrimination may be intimated.
2. Under which circumstances remuneration of consultant was reduced for retired BSNL/MTNL employees vide DOT OM no. 03-10/2014-SEA-I/Fin dated 28.3.2022. Complete note sheet of the case may be supplied.
3. NISG, BBNL & UIDAI are paying remuneration to the consultant at par with central govt employees. Reason for less remuneration to retired BSNL/MTNL employees engaged as consultant in DOT may be intimated.
4. Retired BSNL/MTNL employees are most suitable for DOT as consultant as they are most technical suitable like other retired DOT employees engaged as consultant in DOT. Reason for disparity in remuneration may be intimated.
