From the available records, it is observed that your RTI application has been suitably replied by the CPIO on 07-09-2022.

However, as regards Call Details Record, it is reiterated that as per Licensing Condition No.39.20 (and its amendment) of the License Agreement for Unified License, all the Telecom Service Providers have to preserve the CDRs at least for two years for scrutiny by the licensor for security reasons. CDRs are provided by the TSPs to the Law Enforcement Agencies & to various Courts upon their requests/directions. The License conditions do not mandate Telecom Service Providers(TSPs) to provide CDRs to the general public.

License Agreement of Unified License and its amendment can be downloaded from the DoT Website under Telecom and Spectrum Licensing and further under Unified License and also from the following URL: Download The file ( bytes) pdf Icon and its amendment dated 22.12.2021 can be downloaded from the DoT Website under Telecom and Spectrum Licensing and further under Unified License.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of.
