This is regarding CAF audit of mobile connections activated or re-verified on Aadhaar e-KYC platform by DoT LSAs. It is to mention that customer bonafides are verified & enrollment is done through online bio-metric authentication on Aadhaar platform in addition to authentication of Point of sale person. Kind reference is invited to point No.14 of DoT File No. No.800-29/2010-VAS dated 16.08.2016 mentioning therein that instructions for audit by TERM (Telecom Enforcement, Resource and Monitoring) Cells in respect of customers activated through e-KYC process are being issued separately. In this regard, kindly arrange to furnish certified copy of following information & documents under RTI Act- 2005. RTI fee of Rs. 10/- has been made digitally online.
1). Certified copy of instructions for audit of Telecom service providers by TERM (Telecom Enforcement, Resource and Monitoring) Cells/DoT LSAs in respect of customers activated through Aadhaar e-KYC process.
2). Certified copy of instructions for audit of Telecom service providers by TERM (Telecom Enforcement, Resource and Monitoring) Cells/ DoT LSAs in respect of customers re-verified on Aadhaar e-KYC process.
3). In case, instructions for audit of connections categorized under (1) & (2) are not finalized & circulated yet, certified copy of orders authorizing TERM Cells/ DoT LSAs to audit connections re-verified/activated on Aadhaar e-KYC.
4). Certified copy/copies of the note sheets of relevant file(s) containing proposal & decision to withhold or allow audit of connections re-verified/activated on Aadhaar e-KYC till circulation of broad guidelines to TSPs & TERM Cells.
