Kindly provide me the necessary information for the following queries from 1 to 7 under the RTI Act, 2005.
1. What are the rules for the installation and operation of mobile towers in residential areas in India.
2. The queries from (a) to (k) are about the mobile tower installed in the address (Sreedharan Nair, Sruthi House, Earimala, Nayarkuzhi PO, VIA NIT Campus, Kozhikode, Kerala (Pin 673601))
a. Which company had installed the mobile tower and now which company owns it.
b. Are all the rules in the question number 1 adhered for the installation and operation of mobile tower in the above address.
c. If not, then what are the rules that are not obeyed.
d. Who are the Government officials responsible for taking action against them if any rule is violated.
e. Kindly provide me the approved plan of the mobile tower from the respective Panchayat.
f. What is the date on which the mobile tower started operating and what is the date on which the mobile tower had received its building number.
g. Is it legal for a mobile tower to operate without a building number. What is the legal action that should be taken against a mobile tower company that has been operating for more than 6 years without a proper building number.
h. If the mobile tower in the above site does not possess a building number, then what are the legal actions taken against them.
i. Is there a power connection to the site or is the mobile tower operating in generator. Are all the environment rules obeyed if the mobile tower is operating in generator. If not, then what are the actions taken against mobile tower company.
j. What is the GST percentage the mobile tower companies has to pay to Central and State Government. What is the total tax paid by the above mobile tower company in the financial year 2017 -2018.
k. What is the last date on which the EMF exposure of this tower has been measured. Is the radiation according to the norms. Please provide the name and designation of the officers who measured the EMF in the above site and also the frequency in which the radiation is measured.
3. What is the minimum distance that should to be kept from a college/school for the installation of a mobile tower.
4. what is the minimum distance that should be kept between two mobile towers.
5. Have The Government of India formed any committee to study about mobile tower radiations and its effect on humans in 2017 or 2018.
a. If yes then kindly provide the details and recommendations of the same and also the name and designation of the committee members.
6. Have any universities/union of doctors/Independent study in India warned the Government regarding the harmful effect of mobile tower radiation on peoples lives. If yes, please provide the details of the same.
7. Is Department of Telecommunications/TRAI researching for an alternative other than mobile towers for mobile communication in India.
