Information sought in respect of:
regarding Call Data Record or CDR (with Location information)
1. Whether your department can access CDR of a particular mobile number
2. Whether your department can access CDR of any mobile number
3. Whether your department keeps a record of the persons who access CDR with the time of access
4. Whether your department keeps a record of the reasons for accessing CDR
5. Whether any person (citizen of India) can request CDR data of his number, if not whom/which department should that perosn contact.
6. Whether a person (citizen of India) can request CDR data of his brother or father number.
7. Whether Delhi Police or any other Police Department can request CDR of a mobile number from your department
8. Whether Delhi Police can access CDR of a mobile number on their own/ having their own cyber cell
9. Whether any other Police other than Delhi Police can access CDR of a mobile number on their own / having their own cyber cell
10. Kindly provide the copy of the notification which allows Delhi Police or any other State Police to access or request the access of details of a CDR of a mobile number
11. Whether your department has provided or supported or in any way linked with the Delhi Police system/equipment/software to access CDR details of a mobile number
12. Whether the aforesaid system as per point number 11 is independent system of Delhi Police
13. Whether each of the Districts of Delhi Police have independent Cyber Cell or is also having one central database/server
14. Whether every state Police have such system as mentioned in point number 11
15. Whether the record of the person accessing the CDR are maintained/ kept
