Dear Sir,
I am researching on the laws applicable to Internet Service Providers in India and I am therefore seeking the following information from the Department of Telecom (DoT) for the purpose of my research
a. Details of List of Internet Service Provider (ISPs) Licenses authorized and issued since 1996 along with all amendments (if any) to the licenses
b. List of all Notifications issued to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) under all laws applicable to them which are administered and enforced by the Department of Telecom.
c. List of all Circulars issued to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) under all laws applicable to them and administered by the Department of Telecom.
d. All explanatory notes and notes to draft to the Unified License which were considered by the DoT while drafting and preparing the Unified License Agreement.
e. Also any other rules or regulations which are in force governing Internet Service Providers operating in India for the aforementioned period and which are administered by the Department of Telecom.
