With reference to the recent Supreme Court judgements about linking of ADHAR card to telephone mobile connection, pls clarify the following
1. For a new connection, is it mandatory to provide ADHAR number. If yes, please provide relevant government circular and any amendment to the same after Supreme Court Judgement.
2. For a person who is porting from one operator to another, is it compulsory to provide ADHAR number. If yes, please provide copy of the relevant government circular.
4. Are there any new institutions issued to telecom companies after recent Supreme Court Judgement regarding adhar linking. If yes, provide copies of the circular.
3. If ADHAR Linking for new or existing customers is not compulsory and still the telecom operators insist on it, what is the remedy available to the customer. Please provide details of Public authority
to whom the grievance can be addressed.
