As per Honorable Supreme Court, No one is compelled to link an Aadhaar to avail Mobile services. Furthermore, the use of Aadhaar for linking to other databases, retention, storage or publishing is not only prohibited but also a punishable offence under the The Aadhaar Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies Benefits and Services Act 2016
