INFORMATION REQUISITONED UNDER RTI AFTER THE ABOVE IS BROUIGHT TO NOTICE OF THE CONCERNED AS THE REQUIITON IS A COROLLARY TO THE BACKGROUND INFORMATION (a spare copy is submitted for the purpose of sending it to the concerned Senior Functionary, to save time)
(i) Date of Gazette notification regarding conversion of OCS as VSNL and copy of the Notification
(ii) Copy of detailed instructions given in advance of at least 3 months n for the information of the staff about their fate on such conversion, that is, pension eligibility, PF and Leave matters etc. either by taking the entire service into account or separately for the Government service etc. as done in the case of conversion of Telecom. Into BSNL, which is nothing but a separate wing of the same Ministry of Communications, Govt. of India, avoiding discrimination under Art.14.
