    • Nodal wing for cyber-crime / cyber frauds / financial frauds and interaction with NSCS/ MHA and law enforcement agencies regarding misuse of telecom resources in cyber-crime / cyber frauds / financial frauds and policy measures for making digital ecosystem more secure and robust for citizens and digital payments.
    • Nodal in DoT for National Cyber Crime Reporting portal, 1930 helpline and Cyber Police portal of MHA
    • Innovating technology led solutions for prevention of misuse of telecom resources and enabling appropriate policy measures like KYC, SIM subscription, point of sale  and life cycle management of telecom resources.
    • Implementation of Digital Intelligence Unit (DIU) digital platform project including planning for pan-India roll out, budget matters, coordination with other ministries/departments
    • Pan-India roll out of citizen centric Sanchar Saathi portal having modules like CEIR, TAFCOP, Chakshu, RICWIN, KYM, KYI and any other citizen centric modules in future
    • ASTR (a facial recognition and AI tool) based analysis of mobile connections for detecting SIMs obtained using fake/forged documents and subsequent actions.
    • Development and administration of Digital Intelligence portal (DIP) for online sharing of (i) digital intelligence on real time basis with LEAs, banks, financial institutions, social media intermediaries, Govt. agencies like UIDAI, NPCI, GSTN etc. (ii) enabling use cases by LEAs (iii) mobile number authentication as a service (iv) flagging of the instances of misuse of telecom resources by LEAs and other agencies, identification of other associated telecom resources (v) action on misused telecom resources flagged by LEAs and other agencies
    • All works related to Unsolicited Commercial Communications (UCC) including policy & parliament issues.
    • Coordination with TRAI for conducting various POC to prevent misuse of telecom resources like prevention of MNP frauds
    • Coordination with NSCS, I4C MHA, RBI, Banks, FIs, MeitY, Social Media platforms, Central and State LEAs for action on digital intelligence generated using telecom data.
    • Bi-lateral and multi-lateral with foreign administration and participation in international bodies including ITU, UNODC, APT, SARRC, BIMSTECH, ASEAN etc. on the matter of cyber crime
    • Sangam: Digital Twin initiative for utilization of telecom data and other real time data for futuristic infrastructure planning and design
    • Generating mobility insights from telecom data for metro route planning
    • Engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders and AI/ML communities for continual development of innovative AI and data models and solving problems related to society and other Government/public and private sectors at scale.
    • Study and identify opportunities of big data analytics and Artificial Intelligence for public policy making and facilitate laying down policy.
    • Facilitation of relevant stakeholders to develop, deploy and scale AI based solutions using telecom capabilities using Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
    • Enable accelerated adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the telecom sector, leveraging emerging capabilities of 5G and beyond.
