For the Change of ownership of a malfunctioned Sim Card of a Deceased person, is it necessary that the Legal Heir visit the home circle of telecom provider or the Transfer can be done from any circle? If the transfer can be done only from Home Circle, Can the Legal Heir be permitted to get themselves verified through video calls?
For Example: If the owner has Airtel Sim Card Belonging to Delhi Circle and the owner has died in Hyderabad,also after the death of the owner the sim card has stopped working/malfunctioned/lost. Will the Legal Heirs of the Owner have to travel to Delhi to get the ownership transferred to their name? If the transfer can be done only from Delhi Circle, Can the Legal Heir be permitted to get themselves verified through video calls?
